Juice Recipe: Blood Cleaner

• 1 raw beet (large, ends sliced off, peeled and cut into chunks)

• 1 gala or honeycrisp apple

• 2 large carrots (ends sliced off, peeled and cut into chunks)

• 1 lemon (skin and rind sliced off)

• 1 inch fresh ginger (peeled)

• 1 tablespoon fresh parsley

• 1 cup coconut water

To prepare the juice, blend all the ingredients together in a blender or juicer.

This recipe contains beetroot which is known to have blood cleansing properties and is rich in antioxidants and nutrients such as folate, pectin fiber, iron, and pectin- which is a natural blood cleanser.
